Audio Distortion
 

For the last couple of weeks, the audio on any YouTube vid or any posted on this board
which I have tried to watch - the audio comes out very distorted. It reminds one of a badly
synthesized voice of some malevolent sci-fi entity & at times it renders the video unwatchable.

I am using windows 10 & I drain the steam trap regularly.
The sound card seems to check out OK as I have the tunes running while
using other programs on my PC. All other settings seem to check out as well.

Any suggestions as to what the issue may be I am experiencing & how to
remedy this annoyance.

The issue could be in the multiple software handoffs.
