Paypal and holds on payment

Anyone having payment holds due funds being sent and labeled as echeck? Puts a real damper on business.

Millions of extra dollars per day on hold becomes a nice slush fund.

Look up the complaints.
It is not a new thing.

PayPal is a criminal organization. Avoid.

Are "echecks" specific to Paypal, and what's the scoop? I haven't used PP in over a decade, but they did refund a $500 payment I made for a "bad Carver amp" to a BS'er back then.

Of course it is. Has been for decades.

In 2000, Confinity merged with X.com, an online banking company founded by Elon Musk.[23] Musk was optimistic about the future success of the money transfer business Confinity was developing.[24] Musk and then-president and CEO of X.com, Bill Harris, disagreed on this point and Harris left the company in May 2000.[24] In October of that year, Musk made the decision that X.com would terminate its other Internet banking operations and focus on the PayPal money service.[25] In the same month, Elon Musk was replaced by Peter Thiel as CEO of X.com. The X.com company was then renamed PayPal in 2001,[26] and expanded rapidly throughout the year until company executives decided to take PayPal public in 2002.[20][27] Paypal's IPO listed under the ticker PYPL at $13 per share and ended up generating over $61 million.[28]

Looks like accepting echecks can be turned off in settings.

Really? Are you accepting it for business payments or paying with it?

Yeah. There was this guy who contacted me and he had split screen video of me "punchin' the munchkin" to porn websites.

They were going to send it to everyone in my contacts list, but $1500 in Bitcoin to their account and I was off the hook! :p SmileWavy
