I don’t see much vape talk around here but thought I would ask

If you do make your own liquid...where are you getting your supplies? I have some place in mind but thought I would see if anyone has a preference

The great state of NY has now banned flavored eliquid as of today so.....

It's totally your choice, but I gave up inhaling anything unnatural into my lungs decades ago when there was only cigarettes, cigars, and pipes. The current vaping situation would scare the crap out of me if I vaped. I remember how hard it was to quit smoking as a young person, and I hear vaping can involve much larger amounts of nicotine. Not trying to be preachy, just commenting.

Were should I begin?

I've been Vapeing on and off for about 5 years... Zero cigarettes in that time. Before that I was a smoker for more than 30 years.
The usual story, tried everything, only Vapeing worked for me, etc, etc...

I DIY my own Vape juice using VG*, distilled water and flavour. Locally I can get flavour and VG but I can't get liquid Nic so I get my Nic from New Zealand.

I stopped using any PG** more than 3 years ago because I became sensitive to it.
My hardware is European and I build my own coils using kanthal wire and organic cotton.

Vapeing cannabis oil is a bad idea.

*Vegetable glycerine.
**Propylene Glycol.

I smoked 33 years, 2 packs a day. Vaping got me off it and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. What’s going on in vape news now is fake news. These politicians and news media idiots can’t go to hell.

Nothing is "safe" in large amounts.

Michigan has banned the candy-flavored ones, with NY to follow.

Cool. Thanks. What I’m looking for are reliable trustworthy vendors in the USA. I like what I see and read about liquid barn but wondering if anyone getting Flavors, vg, pg and nic from anyone else they have had positive experience with


I build too and use the high end mechs....preference is Kennedy -made in Cali

And yea vaping black market thc liquid is bad and caused all this BS.

The deaths are most likely due to black market thc liquid not the stuff I’ve been vaping for 5 years now. Fake news

Where was the government banning cigs when I started smoking at 13? They were collecting tax money and still are

Soo. My experience with vaping is a kid in the barracks getting pneumonia... Not treated right and went sepsis.... Evidently very common among those that make "clouds".


Personally I don't care. It doesn't smell as bad as cigarettes...

I personally would not smoke or vape and would discourage starting either. That said, there are ways that vaping is preferable to smoking. My biggest problem with both is that I do neither but have to smell both from people who do it in public. Both make me sick and No one should have to breathe second-hand byproducts of another’s addiction. It leads me to have little sympathy for those that partake of either...when laws are enacted to make partaking difficult.

After 13 years of being here, I’m well aware of how you feel about other people doing things you don’t do or agree with so no need to tell me. But if you find it therapeutic, I’m happy to give you an outlet to express your frustrations with the world

Why be an ass? I really don’t care if you smoke, vape or eat draino. It is your body. Do as you wish....but I should be allowed to do the same with mine. I think that my distaste for being forced to inhale second hand smoke or vapor is quite reasonable. If you keep your addiction to yourself...I have no problem with it and will do the same with mine. As I stated, it is hard to sympathize with people that inflict their smoke or vapor on others...which makes banning such substance much more palatable. The point is that folks that disrespect others rights encourage reciprocity.

BTW the only reason I replied was some kid at the gym was trying to vape while lifting, and i had to walk through the mint cloud..effing *******

If he is "wrong" or "right" in your book, don't just jump all over him.

The issue of smoking and health is complex, and rife with interstate politics, and new addiction methods these days.

Actually no. First of all, it is no more your thread than anyone else's. Post here and folks are free to respond.

Secondly, I addressed the topic as others that did not partake ahead of me did...with respect to the general topic. You posted about me (not the topic)..which you did not do the others. Now you address my family. It is you, not me...that breaks the rules of this forum.

I have no sympathy for your addiction or anyone's and never claimed to...as it is your problem...but if you, like many others...choose to include me in that habit against my wishes, you make it my problem (just as you did in this thread). Obviously, if my pointing out that some folks can give a crap less that they share their stinking habit with the rest of us angers you...then it must have hit home. Personally, my assumption was that you and others here were not offenders...but, apparently I was wrong about you.

If you are so embarrassed by your addiction that it brings out such anger...you are the one with the problem (narcissist), not me.

I don't think anyone addressed if he was "wrong" or "right'...until he did. I don't think any of us care what he does...unless he is one of the many that choose to expel the vapor or smoke in public where it is difficult to avoid it. The closest anyone came is to point out that they were not interested in doing so...for obvious reasons.

Of course, the "insurance pool" point was well taken.
