New gadget - what is it?

This was in the goodie bag for the Zone One Concours yesterday.
I'm not tech savvy, nor do I possess a smart phone, so any high-tech connection is lost on me.
If you press the middle of the top, it goes into 'curl' mode.
If you squeeze it, the Porsche logo strip (the part that does the curl trick) raises up to form a pocket.
The back has a 'remove and stick' covering.
Thanks, Bill K

credit card holder?

crustychief 09-22-2019 12:17 PM

cell phone holder

The inside of the curl is only 1.5 "
Not big enough for my wife's Galaxy.
One credit card fits in the pocket perfectly, but why the curl function?.

This.

As in, something you stick on the back of your cell phone to make holding/gripping it one-handed easier. Credit card slot is a bonus.

See also: Pop-Sockets / Pop-Wallets.

;)

stick it to the back of a cell phone with the peel-n-stick side. Then keep a card of some sort in the pocket, then when you want to hold your phone without dropping it, you pop the curl part out and stick a finger or two in the curl.

kind of like you'd stick your finger in this ring to keep from dropping your phone.

Wait a minute.

4" long means it would have to be affixed to the back of a phone with the curled part in parallel to the length of the phone. Using it to stick a few fingers through to hold your phone would only work if you held the phone sideways.

I'm not convinced that's what it's made for.

it has to be a yoni egg holder

Curled part acts as a stand so you can rest phone on a desk and view whatever content is on the screen, or less likely hook it into AC vent.

Yeah, but it only accommodates 1.5" of girth.

It’s obvious the round clip allows you to clip it to your steering wheel. 🤪

Snap it over your wrist and use it like a Dick Tracey wrist radio. If you slip it around and put the phone on the inside of your wrist you can pick your nose and talk on the phone at the same time!

Seriously, those wrist holders that hold the phone without occupying your hand look useful.

Cell phone to roll cage...... I'd add a zip tie for extra security.

It's not necessarily to help you hold the phone in your hand - it's to allow the phone to be set down horizontally to watch a video. The extensions that stick out act as an easel.
