Mrs Beard is being rejected from buying Claritin-D. She takes the 12 hour stuff and buys a 20 package. That would appear to be a 10 day supply. The Pharmacy is saying that she cannot buy any because it is "too early".

How paranoid have we become that my wife cannot treat her allergies? They are tracking, by her driver's license, how much she purchases. A day early and they reject her purchase.

This is CRAZY!

I would never go back to that pharmacy.

Yea, the dang meth heads made buying allergy drugs a total pain in the butt. Anything the the "D" or the stuff the meth cooks use to make meth is harder to buy than anything else I buy. It is nuts that a law can prevent someone from getting the allergy medications that work the best.

Yep, federal law (limit) on pseudoephedrine. Thanks meth heads...
Can she get by with the non "D" Claritin in the meantime?

You can go the expensive route. Go to an allergy doctor, and start the allergy shots. I did them for 20 years and it pretty much fixed my allergies.

The doc can write a prescription for the pills and that will be more pills, and maybe something better than the OTC stuff. Even if if is for OTC pills, the prescription will let me get the pills I need and not get just 10 pills at a time.

Be a good hubby and buy her a package as a present.
