Some cars look so much better on the road

Had to travel to St. Paul, MN today. Traffic was steady and I ended up encountering about 6 P-cars that I noticed...3 water cooled 911's, a dreamsicle orange Cayman, a pepperwagen S, and a Panamera. It was a treat for me and I was impressed with how all but the Cayman looked great in traffic (the Cayman looked absurd in that color). The 911's in particular looked effortless in their travels.

Are there cars you appreciate more when encountered in the wild?

Saw a Miura wedged between pickup trucks in line getting on to I77 north from Massillon Road last year.

The car was impressive set off by the monster vehicles. Gray haired old man driving, of course.

I feel that way about my 911. I think its kinda boring up close. it looks good from afar but on the rare occasion i see someone else driving it on the road it looks amazing. It may just be that i see it too much up close.

This. I have the very same experience whenever I cross paths with another C6 Z06.

I passed a nice old red Ferrari 308 going in the other direction on a back road near here. I was actually startled, pretty rare car to see on the road around here.

Dino 246 that’s been in the same family for decades shows itself around here from time to time. Looks otherworldly....

I do not disbelieve in anything. I start from the premise that everything is true until proved false. Everything is possible.

In SoCal here and I practically trip over GT3s, McLaren's, etc I saw a stock 1954 Buick wagon that was amazing.
