Home recording studio
Anybody into this kind of thing ?
I’ve been building a home recording studio for about 4 years , and I’m realizing in that time I’ve barely even picked up a guitar nor finished it  I guess it’s time to give up this project , and realize some of the money I have tied-up in it ... Where is best to sell it as used stuff , and would I be better selling as a whole or splitting up into parts ? Thanks Ian |
If you are truly over it, selling on Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, and Reverb.com can all work. Expect to get around 50% of what you paid for it and selling individually usually gives greater returns and greater hassle.
Good luck! |
It seems a bit sad. You not getting to use and enjoy it.
Can you use it to some degree or another as it is now? |
Craigslist
eBay Gearslutz Reverb etc. |
Pretty sure our member Gogar has one...but then again he is a rock star....
|
Reverb will generally get you top dollar compared to fleabay and craigslist
|
Thanks for the tips .
I’d forgotten all about reverb . I think I bought an sold a few amps on there years ago |
Sooo, just curious...Whatcha got?
|
I’ll go take a look for model numbers etc but it’s all avid .
|
Erm ...
No it’s not . It’s been a while since I went in there  There are 2 mixers/controllers joined together , and they’re avid . The other bits are 2 apogee units , separate but linked by fiber to expand inputs iirc . |
