That thread I just posted...off limits? Mebbe it's in PARF, but it was about our service men and women....nothing more, nothing less, nothing political, and I just wanted to pass the tribute along to others...

Pretty good - enjoying the fact that while not perfect, the weather is at least out of the 90+ range for a little while. It makes hanger/shop work much more enjoyable when not faced with sweating ass the entire day (for 5 months straight this year).

Highest in Akron was 93 maybe, dead ass middle of July.

Yep....Flat saw the thread here in OT and posted 4 minutes later....he must've PARFed it.....not I :).

I recall another silly thead I started "tongue in cheek" a few weeks ago, based upon another thread....disappeared within minutes too.

That one probably did NOT go to PARF though....just deleted I suppose....no biggie :)

I posted a silly comment to you regarding PARF, and my long standing ban from there, which included a reference to a certain politician, Bob K slung some mud at me about that (just a funny zinger from one bro to another), I retorted, and then our offending posts were quickly deleted (due to my political reference and Bob's quoting of me, no doubt). Yer welcome! :)

Agree 100%. Although I applaud the moderators' thankless task....I do not care for the lack of transparency....and frankly don't understand it.

I don't visit PARF anymore....haven't in a long time. PARF had/has a stench....and it's NOT just 1 or 2 folks...it's been like that since it's inception...but that's the cesspool they like...evidently :(.

There are several on BOTH ends of the spectrum that are culpable....and they enjoy it.

I just don't....YMMV.

KC, you should have known better than to start the first thread, and it should be clear by now that this thread is a train wreck, even if it is a circus train.

Stop pushing the envelope and pointing fingers. This is a community, and you are easily able to discern between normal topics and divisive ones. You did this, and you are still doing it. I understand that we should be able to have regular adult conversations here, but we can't, as thread drift is inevitable.

Nobody is after you, but you are doing yourself and this forum no favors. If you don't like PARF, stop inviting it into regular OT. Don't you have something else you could discuss ?

Point taken, but I'm just not sure where the "line" is. I obviously knew I was "pushing it", but thought maybe a tribute to our service members who were injured would rise above that...I was wrong. I will refrain....and PARF can circle the drain :).

I would suggest that threads or posts should not be moved or deleted with no explanation however. This place has been a free-for-all for many years now...my posts/threads are benign by comparison imo....but that's jmho for sure.
