What's this old mountain bike worth?

I moved here 3 years ago and that's how long it's been hanging from the ceiling. I'm thinking I'm never going to ride it again so I might as well sell it.

It's in very good shape, and it's a Klein.

What do these go for? I'm thinking about putting it on Craigslist as I don't want to fool with mailing it somewhere.

I had an old Trek bike I thought about selling some years ago. After checking Craigslist and seeing how little used bikes went for and how old some of the ads stayed up for, I decided to just give it away to a kid that needed something to get to work on.

26 inch Mtb bikes are hard to sell at any price these days. 29 and 27.5 is the new norm.

I agree 500 on the top end. It will help if it's a small as would make a good youth or wife bike for some guys.

Not sure on size, I'll look tomorrow. You plan on coming down to Florida?

No. Would you be willing to drop it off at a bike shop? I would handle everything from there.

Kleins are SWEET! Made in my neck of the woods. I knew some folks that worked there about a million years ago.

Well I was thinking it was worth than 300-500. I may as well keep it, I got it down and aired up the tires and oiled the chain, also wiped off the dust. Still looks close to new.

i had a full suspension Specialized FSR. when i bought new mtn bike, i took the pedals off, took my saddle off and pushed it into my mailman's van. i gave it to him for $100..he was stoked.

i dont find them worth much anymore. if there is any crowd that values the "latest and greatest" it would be mtn biker people..(followed closely by compound bow people)

Klein was a great boutique MTB manufacturer way back. Well-made, well-specd' and pretty spendy. Should sell fast for $300.
