We had something similar happen in Bentonville, Arkansas. The recordings were refused from evidence and the guy got off.

They are now incorporating facial recognition and license plate reading (w/full time police interlinking) into the doorbell cameras.
The Nest thermostat had a hidden mic where they didn't tell customers. They have already been caught using 'human review' of conversations and um other activities within the home. YMMV. |
