Well, Nov is off to a great start, first off, some on the town council have decided that the entire town needs to be like a Deed Restricted neighborhood, not wanting boats, RVs or any type of trailers in your driveway, trying to do away parking on the street. Mind you, this is not just for a community, but the entire town. One guy on the town council was a car guy, was wanting to help, died on Friday, so not sure which direction it is going to go. The main reason I bought where I did was because it is off the beaten path, large lots and no HOA, hell I avoided even looking at anyplace with an HOA. Also, on Friday, I go to pay the rent on one of my mini warehouses, one I have been in since the late 80s, early 90s, paying early and a few months at a time. Well, the manger says she has bad news. The are going to tear down the building that I am in and don't have anyplace to put myself and the other tenants Course, with a loft, you can imagine that it is pretty loaded up. Then I find out that I have at least 1 baker cyst, find out more about those tomorrow when I go to the specialist. And just when you think nothing else can happen, only 5 days into the month, I find out yesterday, that a good friend who lives in NYC died
Wonder what the rest of Nov has lined up for me.

City council members don't like negative attention or noise. I suggest you start making some noise.

Letters to editors, interwebs, organize car groups and enthusiasts, RV clubs, whatever. reach out, get enough people involved, put the pressure on. They'll cave like a house of cards.

Lucky there is only 30 days in November.
They passed the same type of bylaw in my town. You can only have something in your driveway if it is in season. Boats only in the summer etc. Pi##ed a lot of people off.

Boy is it ever, missed one the other week, had to take a friend to a specialist in Gainesville the day I needed to prep and load the track car, plus the knee was bothering me and pretty swollen. On the knee, scheduling an MRI to try and find out what is going on as the swelling is down. .

I have been to a few meeting and have spoken on this, and fortunately, there is support for our side in the community, and the 2 neighbors for it, said they would park their RVs in a storage, if they had one, course neither of those A-holes have big enough yards or driveways to part an RV or boat. Another neighbor, a Former Marine, plans on calling both of them out on that at the next meeting, that should be good.
