The bounty hunter droid in ep 1 was cracking me up the way he walked and looked around. It definitely had the old school Star Wars feel about it. Looking forward to Ep 2

sc_rufctr 11-23-2019 04:52 AM

Just watched episode 3... Once again brilliant!

svandamme 11-23-2019 10:16 PM

tried watching it , annoyed me to bits.
E1 bounty hunter with shiny new armor.. beeeuuuh

then cryofreezing em on his ship..BS. does not compute.

fell a sleep

911_Dude 11-24-2019 05:00 AM

^^^^^ You must not of liked any of the Star Wars movies then, because it was just another day in Star Wars land.

Episode 4 was brilliant but Julia Jones (Wind River) alone made it worth watching.
Also the first appearance of Gina Carano. She's a convincing tough lady.

I think its great.. Complete escape from reality.. And yes saw the original star wars a new hope with my parents when I was 3 not that I remember that go around..

dan79brooklyn 11-30-2019 03:08 PM

Episode 4 was definitely influenced by Kurosawa’s The Seven Samurai.

Gina Carano, former MMA fighter.

She played a villain in Deadpool among many other roles.

She’s legit.

Interesting (the praise)... I'm sorta going the other way, I was excited at first but seeing my interest fading now. Very simple plots, short episodes, more like old westerns than star wars... The kids love baby Yoda so they'll keep watching but I am getting bored and might drop off, or catch it at season's end in one afternoon... It's all good though, it's not "bad" - we all have different tastes and thresholds for usage of free time...

berettafan 12-04-2019 08:23 AM

Spaghetti westerns interpreted into the star wars universe by 6 year olds.

Entertaining...yes. But not what I would call very well done. Quite a few swing and misses throughout. The baby Yoda thing is neat but again...just entertaining.

I agree. Metering them out every Friday serves no point as well...except it's the only fresh content on the site. The only reason I have the subscription is that it's free.

Thank you!!
Exactly what I've been wondering when I talk to my son about it..

That's the mystery. We don't really know anything about him.

Meanwhile episode 6 was brilliant. :D (Bill Burr played the part of a mercenary)

berettafan 12-13-2019 06:28 AM

Well I'm a huge Bill Burr fan, love his comedy. Hope the episode is good.

The MMA chick was awful. If this next episode isn't significantly better I'm probably done watching.

Didn’t watch 6 yet but same here - it better return to some larger themes or I’m tapping out. Dropping onto a planet, having a skirmish tied to nothing related to who these people are or where they’re going, and then flying away to the next one? Not sustainable

Brando 12-15-2019 10:18 AM

Episode 6 was good, definitely painted some back story for Mando.

This...

It's all in the details. You really have to pay attention.

Felt the same thing you do about larger themes. But Ep6 was GOOD. Way more star warsy, less "Kung-fuy". More background. Hopefully it leans that way more than the previous couple of lame episodes.
