Any sim racers here?
I was into it years ago and thought I might get back into computer sim racing games. Grand Prix Legends was the game of choice, for me, back in the day. Whats the story on the new sim racing games? What wheel do you use? I'll probably need a new computer for games, any advice would help.
Thanks guys. Finn |
simracing is probably the most accurate out there offering a subscription based service along with a tiering system to keep the competition tight and the frequent crashers from getting too far.
You pay for nearly everything though. New cars, new tracks, etc.. all cost additional money. $50-$100/year to get started. Lots of good wheels out there. I personally like the Fanatec wheels for their ability to have smooth and strong feedback - but there are many others from logitech etc. that are quite good. I've tried the VR setup for a year but when you crash, its very nauseating, so went back to a 3 monitor setup. |
Any pic's of your set up?

No sorry. However you can google it. Pretty budget deal with a "Playseat" and "SimSeats" triiple monitor mount with 3 24" monitors. Then the Fanatec GT3 force feedback wheels.
I've also added a kicker to add vibration to the rig. |
