Mah Stillers D looks good but Rudolf ain't the leading reindeer for the team.
Assuming you're talking about Cam. all things come to an end.

My 2 cents and keep the change
Cam's days in Carolina are done , between his latest injury and his attitude that his $hit don't stink = not a team leader . They will cut him loose and the money saved will go towards filling other gaps on the team . Would not be surprised if the Panthers bring in someone like Colin K .......... yes a QB with baggage but he can step in and do the job for maybe a relatively cheap price . A stop gap QB for maybe 2 - 3 years as younger talent gets groomed to replace . There are other veteran QB's that have been benched this year like Manning or the guy from the Bengals ( sorry can't think of his name ) that will probably become available the end of the season . Again either one could be a stop gap leader/teacher to groom young talent . Back to Colin K for a minute , like many I didn't like the way he went about protesting police violence but I give him some credit for trying to do the right thing at least in his mind . Very easy for someone making millions to just say screw it not my problem . I think any team going to go watch his tryout ( I think 10 teams have committed so far ) if they offer a contract I am sure there will be protest stipulations . Any team that might sign him could easily work with him as a community leader to work with local law enforcement and be a positive influence in helping to build a trust and relationship . Or he can go unsigned and sit at home counting his money it doesn't matter to me . Regardless of skin color/gender/education/home environment any " famous " athlete can be a very powerful role model if they choose to be . Not saying it's right but that is a fact . When they take that fame and choose to do the right thing and help a charity or a hospital or a Make A Wish program or whatever they can change a community . Or they can be a thug/worthless POS and drag a community down it's entirely their choice . End of rant I'm out

I heard rumors about the Lions looking at signing Kapernick to replace Stafford...makes no difference to me as long as he is respectful of having a second chance.
Hopefully Baker Mayfield can ramp it up against the Steelers tonight. |

Poor Baker...he needs a better group of wide butts up front.

I agree if given a second chance I would hope some good can come from it . If he is still passionate about the cause I have no problem with that but go about protesting it or fixing it in a positive manner . Get people on board in a positive way you can move mountains ........... go about it in a negative way and alienate the masses you won't get anything done .

Isn't part of the problem the fact that he's still expecting a $20 mil salary?

What someone wants/expects is different than what is offered or gets . In my opinion ANY contract that is offered will be relatively low dollars guaranteed and heavily incentive driven . You can take it or leave it . To be totally honest most of us work or worked in a " pay for performance " environment nothing was guaranteed . Only difference I see is the risk of injury .

Carolina's current QB had a pretty good game against the packers. Within inches of a possible tie.

. The Panthers owner would give CK a shot....that's my take. I actually think Cam has grown up quite a bit, not a bad guy either, but when he isn't a run threat, is actually a liability...Supergone....jmho. We'll take Stafford too !

I am still of the opinion that he was just acting like a baby for not getting the start.
Then when someone noticed and started giving him some attention he turned it in to a 'protest' Just my opinion...

I fully agree, the POS was riding the pine for a reason, his attitude sucks and if anyone is stupid enough to hire him(and remember, he had offers, but he REFUSED them. May the greedy, racist POS break his neck if he gets back on the field.
