OK, I readily admit to being out of touch with the current phrases and trends, and I am OK being a grumpy old man.

WTF does that sentence mean? Even with bad translations in instructions, or Engrish, I can usually make out what was meant to be said. With that sentences above I have no clue whatsoever. Can someone please translate that to normal American English please.
