Ridgid 18 volt cordless vacuum - it's great!
I hesitated for weeks before buying this thing, it's a bit spendy at $170 (without battery or charger), but I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger. I had a job where I had to use a vacuum up on a ladder and the plug-in vacuums just weren't working out so I finally had a strong incentive to go ahead and buy it.

It's light weight and seems to be as powerful as Ridgid's plug-in model. Without a cord to drag around it is just so damn handy and easy to use it is our go-to vacuum anymore. It uses the same 18 volt battery as my Ridgid drills, which is super handy. Battery lasts about 20 minutes.
The biggest problem is MrsWD has commandeered it for the house and I never know where it is.

Any power tool that is cordless automatically gets brownie points.

My 2 shop vacs aren't really that great so I actually brought my house unit to the garage to vacuum out my '83 SC that I'm restoring. It's a corded Eureka and did a great job.

I already have Ryobi so would probably go in that direction. Their unit is around $100.....

Sounds like a great idea.

I don’t have one, but my collection of Dewalt cordless tools is growing with about 10 right now. Five 5 amp batteries and three chargers to keep them running.

One tool I have is the battery powered Dewalt blower. With a 5 amp battery, it lasts about 10 minutes on full blast and much longer on lower speeds. I can blow out a house after MEP roughs in about 15 minutes and use it just about every day on something.

Milwaukee make an 18 volt version. ($230 AU skin only)

If I had a need I'd buy one tomorrow because I already have the Milwaukee 18 volt batteries.

I'll use my 50eleven volt Echo blower to clean off my backpack hurricane maker in a little bit....

You got any battery snow blowers in stock?

They blow :)...

Drain the tank, pull the spark plug, add new gas, drink two beers and all will be well again. And why the hell do you have to fire your mower up in late November anyhow?

I had bad gas once too. You can ask my wife, she'll tell ya.
