Weekend at Palpatines

I don't give a patooooooooiee about the Star Wars Debacles that have been forced upon the fans over the last few years, other than understanding the whole progressive narrative that needed to destroy the mythos of the original trilogy (which has been chatted about here before). I've not seen any of the propaganda pieces since the second trilogy, but as a kid of the 70's that stood in loooooong lines; I can understand the frustration of the fan base.

This kinda tickled my funny bone: (and boy, is this whole thing FUBAR)

I prefer to wait until after its out.
I'm not much of a movie person, rarely watch movies.
To me, Star Wars was much much bigger than the movies.

What they did to the expanded universe bothers me more than a weak movie.
Ever seen the Ewok TV specials? Or the Star Wars Christmas Special?

Back in the 70s, we didn't have many entertainment options (I still didn't like the movies). There are far more options for whatever genre you prefer these days, so "Star Wars" is more for the nerds who want to relive their youth, with wimsical remake/rehash movies.

I'm not sure all of the new Star Wars Series lego sets aren't going to 40 something Dads.

I heard they were bringing in Denis Quaid to play Palpatine, and Enya to play Princess Laya.

Spoiler; John dies in the end.

There seem to be a lot of people on YouTube who are making a career of trashing movies.

Which means it wouldn't matter what Disney did with the Star Wars movies because they'd find some way to trash them.

They make money per views and bad/negative reviews attract a lots of views.
(What does that tell you about the average YouTube user? )
And don't forget most of them are much younger than anyone who post here regularly.

The trick is not to buy into their BS.

Watch the videos if you must but there really is only one way to know for sure.

Any Star Wars movie is worth the price of admission IMO.
