They are being sued.

I used to work for a federal judge - his very large family was half lawyers and half doctors.

Hey look, yet another reason to hate lawyers!

Some choice quotes:

"In one video, an unidentified lawyer is seen challenging the doctors, saying the doctors had invited their death and could not escape the wrath of the lawyers."

" “Look at the sea of lawyers, doctor,” the lawyer said in a bombastic tone. “Today, we will insert stents in the doctors.” "

Apparently they rampaged because the doctors would not give them special treatment.

I always used that in opening statements.

You likely understand more than most that the "malpractice crisis" is more about allocating resources to care for the tragically disabled than it is about what we used to understand to be the basis of tort law. I feel for everyone involved.

Attitudes toward lawyers are a lot like attitudes toward politicians. People usually hate "them" in general but like their own.

Well said. I was involved in several medical mal cases early on and can say that this is true.

All lawyer jokes are true stories.

I don't like either.

I don't like or trust even my own lawyers. I have never gotten the feeling they are looking out for me.

My state politician is VanDrew. I don't like him as a Democrat and won't trust him as a Republican. It's already coming out he's only changing parties for his own good. To get reelected.

Like lawyers politicians are looking out for themselves screw who they represent or should I say pays them. And lets not forget that most politicians are lawyers.
