It's a Mustang Thang

Like Florida Man, for some reason many owners of a perfectly good car tend to engage in certain behaviors...

There’s a certain poetic justice to a Mustang setting an EV charging station on fire. Maybe mad that Ford has forsaken it’s namesake?

............Duuno man...…….but his hair-do is whole 'nother accident. Just think, he paid for that....

Good to know somebody is upholding the Mustang code. Crash and burn is worth more points than a mere crash.

That was in Oregon. Paul? Have you gotten a make-over and decided to "burn cookies" on the way home from the pool hall? :D :D

"burn cookies" what the hell, where's that from? That sounds like something silly that they'd say in the UK. ;)

Should change his name slightly to Ricky Crisis?

Evidently, Seaside. Coast resort town far to the North and West of me. Gawd, don't think I've been there since around the time of the 1960's spring break riots. And no, I didn't participate in those.

I'm too cheap to want to burn up a good set of Continental all season tires...

RWebb 12-17-2019 06:16 PM

it's world-wide...

I can't believe there's no video of "The Event". No great surprise really, there's some extra insane driving that goes on in that part of the world.

4th gen Mustang is hands down the greatest value in the entire car world.
Many agree.

I grabbed this up today for $2100.00
113,000 miles, new motor from Ford at 104,

Guy bought it brand new, and really took good care of it, interior is perfect .
Runs perfect . Killer audio system, new tires. wow.

I would have been hard pressed to get a rusty camry for that money .
I feel like I'm 20 years old again, looking out over a hood scoop while holding a shifter in my hand

It must suck to be a girl, having to keep a spare pair of underwear in the glove compartment in case some guy in a Mustang pulls up next to you at a light and revs his engine.

petrolhead611 12-18-2019 01:13 AM

The sort of girl that would need to change her underwear at the sight and sound of a revving Mustang probably doesn't wear any underwear

I found a 2004 triple black (40th anniversary edition) convertible GT that I have been daily driving for 4 years now with very few problems....$2500, and with 4.10 gears, it runs high 13s at 100 mph (in 1/4 mile) with nearly 200,000 miles.

Shhhh...don't give the P-car elites the impression that Mustangs actually are pretty good cars. Let them enjoy their fantasies of superiority as they enjoy their finicky machines.
