Sharing is caring.

I don't know but based on the hand location of the two people on the outsides of the bed... not much.

john70t 01-16-2020 04:16 PM

I've been pushed off the bed middle of the night...or had covers pulled off....by both the ex-gf and the sideways dawg.

Still not big enough.

When the kids were little, they liked to sleep with us. I didn’t mind when they were small, but was about to build a double bunk bed with king size mattresses if they didn’t sleep in there own rooms.

PetrolBlueSC 01-16-2020 04:29 PM

I could tell you, but you would have to spend a night in my Alaska King bed.

Jim Richards 01-16-2020 05:05 PM

The Alaska King graphic in the OP is incorrect. It should be three chicks at once...

With two 12 pound dogs that insist on sleeping with us, we need a Wyoming king.

Bugsinrugs 01-16-2020 05:26 PM

How many people does it take to deliver that monster? If it’s a temperpedic they would need a forklift!

We have a queen. Being the husband, head of the household, I get one third of the bed. That I have to share with both dogs and one of the cats. My wife gets the middle. And the far third goes to my wife’s cat that hisses and snarls if anyone gets within two feet of her.

And it’s -15° today. Pets are an important source of heat.

"I swear the God" as my ex-MIL used to say.

California King is a bee-otch for two to carry. That Alaska bed is obscene.

My 30 lb Beagi has to sleep with me. She takes up a lot of space.

red-beard 01-16-2020 05:56 PM

Mrs. Beard wants to move up to a King. But every time we have a hotel room with a King, she snuggles to my side because she is cold.

I looked up Alaska King on the Posturepedic website, and that's the "Teenage girl and local hotel bellhop" configuration. They recommend the two outer men keep themselves entertained until the girl and bellhop get going, then join in. They also recommend getting the $1M extended warranty/insurance policy with the bed.

The width I understand, but who outside the NBA players want or need a bed that is 9 feet long?

I had a California King waterbed for decades....never knew it was longer and narrower than a King....

Alaska King....made for explorers, gymnasts, or Iditarod dawg teams :D?

It does look like the two on the outside are watching, waiting for the bellhop and the teenager to get busy.
