Headbanger song suggestions for the newb

I would like to listen to a larger set of these songs. I don't have the urge to listen to everything and decide which ones I like. I'm not that into it.

However, if you are into this kind of thing, could you provide me your top two or three songs that really grew on you? I would like to check them out.

I like Rage Against the Machine, Killing in the Name, probably the best. Couple of Slipknot songs, Duality and Wait and Bleed. Prodigy - Smack my Bee-otch Up and Breathe. Also, Let the Bodies Hit the Floor and the Wa-ah-ah-ah song but that's about it. I don't know anything else. Thanks for helping an old man out.

Not a real fan of real headbanger music, likely why I am suggesting this one, but it was super fun to play on guitar hero and later a spirited drive in the 996



Edit, so I will admit I am/was (long story) a VH fan and loved both DLR and SH as frontmen. One of my favorite rock songs (sorry DLR) was when Sammy was onboard.

Almost anything by Metallica. One of my favorites and a BIG reason why I have tinnitus today. Picture a 1995 Chevy S10 extended cab with 2 MTX Road Thunders.

So you're really looking for "metal" bands. I used to listen to Anthrax but I can't remember most of their songs. Warning! They did a crossover song with Public Enemy (Bring The Noise) so if you don't like rap don't listen to that one.

I have listened several times across the ages. Few of these songs grab you first time though.

It's the first one that pops up on youtube when you enter Metallica.
