^^^ Actually Aaron played a good game.
Just a good excuse for not winning.(Danica)

I'm going with the Chiefs....

Mahomes does stand a better chance at withstanding the crushing pass rush of the 9ers

He can scramble all over the place and keep his cool. Could make for a good game.

At the half I comforted the teary-eyed Chief Sandwicher to not despair for Green Bay. They might save themselves from total humiliation by not coming out for the second half.

PB & J again!

They came out for the second but they were not there for the first half.:D

Yeah, Jack. We did end up maintaining our vigilance the entire game.

But alas, all for naught in the end.

stevej37 01-20-2020 09:39 AM

^^^ lol...not that there's anything wrong with that!

The Chiefs will need a good battle plan to beat those boyz from the gay bay...but the Chiefs aren't the patsy Packers. Here's hoping for a good superbowl, not another blowout.

That's the issue - can he evade:

Arik Armistead, DE - from UO Dux

DeForest Buckner, DE - from UO Dux

Nick Bosa, DE, form Ohio St. ??

etc. etc. etc.

you watch them shrink the pocket like it was caught in a black hole last Sunday

then, of course, there is my favorite Stanford MBA who shuts down one side of the pass field...

I'm going with Chiefs by 10. It's going to take Garoppolo throwing more IMO because if the Chiefs can shut down Henry they can shut down the 9er's run game too. If it comes down to a battle of QB's I like Mahomes for the win. It's a strength against strength game. KC's offense can match if not exceed San Fran's speed on defense. Should be a good game. I love watching Mahomes play the game.

I just found out Mahomes was drafted by the Tigers (after he committed to college football):

If I remember correctly there was talk of him playing baseball professionally rather than football. The fun thing is, he makes baseball throws with a football.

That's gotta be some sweet revenge! Few things are sweeter than an underdog getting his day in the sun.

For some reason it looks to me like every time Mahomes throws it looks like the ball is gonna be in the dirt.

I played in a softball league and one of my teamates who played outfield was a former MSU baseball pitcher. I swear every time he threw the ball to me it looked like it was rising. What was really happening, I figured out, was that the ball wasn't rising; it just wasn't sinking like a normal person's throw does. Plus it usually hit my glove like a sledge hammer.

Mahomes is a dual threat QB. He actually ended up with more rushing yards than Henry yesterday.

The Chiefs play great under pressure. Kelse is clutch. The narrative in this years playoffs is that they spot their opponents 10, 20 or more points in 1st qtr then come back in the 2nd qtr and dominate the rest of the game.

My voice is rough today. I was loud, drunk and cold at Arrowhead!!!
