Vehicle wrap scam
Got an unsolicited FedEx package last week. Inside was an offer to wrap my vehicle in a Bubble UP ad. Also along with a certified cashier's check for $4500.
Instructions were to deposit the check, contact the installer and "pre pay" prior to the installation....yeah...RIGHT. I check with Capitol One and the check was fraudulent. Sent jpegs and an email to Bubble Up. They could care less. Funny schizzle. |
Sounds like the old alloy siding scams. They seem to be getting more "creative" as time goes on.
I wonder how much money is being made with scams right now. I'd bet the world wide figure is astronomical. |
