Bellator 238
Saturday, I'll be working Bellator 238 at The Fabulous Forum. I am working several of the fights during the night and the main event.
Who do you think will win, Cyborg or Budd? It's going to be fun!!! Budd vs. Cyborg - Sat, Jan 25, 10:00 pm ET - The Forum | Bellator.com |
Hard to bet against Cyborg since the only competitor to sit her down was Amanda Nunez (Holly Holm gave a respectable showing, however) and no one else was even a serious challenge.

Love Rousey or hate her, she was a tough competitior who still cleaned up and looked completely feminine. Out of the "still feminine" catagory the one to watch is Aspen Ladd. I've rolled with Aspen and she is no joke, but yes I don't see anyone beating Nunes for a while, unless its another he/she chick. |

I've seen Ladd fight many times and really like her. So cool that you've trained with her! I'm also a big RR fan and was really disappointing that she got so badly beaten the two fights prior to her leaving the sport. But that's how this sport goes (seemingly untouchable one day and then laid out the next), as you well know. It will be interesting to see how Cyborg looks and preforms with Bellator, since I don't know how vigilant their anti-doping rules are enforced (do they do out of competition testing at all?). It was wild to see some of the former UFC "hulks" shrivel down to regular athlete proportions once the WADA rules and testing took effect. |

Ha ha, right about Overeem - dude used to look like a cartoon character when he was juicing! Same with Belfort - guy was barely recognizable once he started passing drug tests. :D

Wow, that KO slam was shocking and painful to watch - felt genuine concern for Namajunas' well being for a bit. |
Amanda Nunes is an incredible fighter, both standing and ground fighting. She will be tough to beat as long as she does not slow down in her training regimen. At that level, any champ can lose on any given day for a very small mistake.
RR was the first female fighter to open the MMA game up for others and be on the main card. Her Judo was off the charts and she dominated everyone. She fought Holly Holm in a pure stand-up fight knowing that Holm was a champion boxer and professional kickboxer. RR had no business trying to stand and exchange with her. When RR fought Amanda Nunes, again she tried to stand and bang! I believe if she had fought to her strengths, she would have had a longer tenure as the UFC champ. I like the way Rose Namajunas fights, but Jessica Andrade is a beast! Rawknees' and Rodsrsr, the drug tests on the day of the fight are decided by the Commission of the state the event will be held in. At any given time, the licensing state can also randomly test a licensed fighter. It's going to be a fun event! |
Cyborg is a very strong woman. This photo is from 2017 when I was working one of her fights.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1579880743.jpg
