Elementary School United States Postcard Project

My good friend's daughter has a project to collect postcards from all 50 states. The postcard must:

1. Be personalized (Dear Jade)
2. list an interesting fact about your state
3. have where you live in that state
4. Name the capital of your state.

The postcards must be received by February 28th.

If any of you feel so inclined, please address the postcard to:

Wal-Mart here has a postcard rack. So, high probability they all do. Just ask where it is next time you're there buying oil.

I ended up driving out to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge visitor center to buy a couple. Only about a dozen choices. On the way I did get to see a bunch of bison, Texas Longhorn, and even a one bull elk.

Another thing fading from our landscape...the postcard rack. Like pay phones, they used to be everywhere.
