Suspension refresh replace bump stops ?

I have an 02 Boxster S and two years ago purchased a lightly used set of H&R adjustable coil over shocks and struts. They do not have bump stops should they ? I am going to order new accordian boots but not sure if I should order new bump stops .

Or can I remove them from my old setup ? Our host wants $22.00 each so 88.00 for four , seems pricey for what they are. To my knowledge I have never bottomed out the suspension I currently have and I don't plan on slamming the car low . Thoughts ?

To clarify I am now getting ready to install the coil over setup .

If it were a Miata, I would say yes because the bump stops are frequently used. If you are not going to be on the bump stops, it should not matter.

That said, with all the work building and installing the suspension requires, I would spend the $22 a corner and be done with it.

Unless they just look perfect, I don’t see why you’d go to the trouble of putting in a $2k suspension set up and cheap out less than $100 worth of parts. They are 18 years old at this point, I can’t imagine they aren’t rock hard now.

Someone on the Boxster forum stated the bump stops are internal , if that is accurate then that explains why they are not there externally .
