Exciting Film Project Proposal

Dear Pelicans,

My name is Patch, I’m a video/photo producer currently residing in New York.

I inherited a 76’ 911S Targa that was in poor shape about 3 years ago and I knew barely anything about the car or mechanics. Since then, I’ve learnt to bring the car back to life with help from friends but mainly from the passionate members of this forum. Along the way, I’ve met many members and been fortunate enough to visit workshops and garages to see some very impressive machinery.

With this in mind, I wanted to use my talents as a producer to create short documentary style video’s interviewing collectors, mechanics and passionate owners who want to tell their story of why Porsche is so special to them.

I’d love to come to your workshops, garages, homes and interview you and film your beautiful cars. I feel that its important to give back to the community that has helped me so much and help inspire the next generation of Porsche owners.

As this is a self-financed project, I’m looking for people who live in a 100 mile radius from New York City. This hopefully will change as the series progresses.

If this is something you’re interested in and would like to continue the conversation, please email me and I can explain in detail what we are looking to achieve. Alternatively, if you know of someone who isn’t on the forum yet has a fantastic story or collection please reach out!

Many thanks,

Patch Ward

A shame Ron Madaio has passed...(RoninLB). He could easily have been a documentary in his own right.

Sorry, have no other suggestion...just remembering a guy who was in my life for too short a time.
