Can someone embed for me:

Reminds me of a younger time when I was struggling with different “distractions” pulling me in different directions...

The cat is looking at me in a very concerned manner. I've just sung ♪♪ the lion sleeps tonight♪♪ about 20 times, copying various artists LOL

The Saturday afternoon of the first week this album came out. 1975. I wish I could remember more, but the chemicals at the time and age as of late have washed some of the details white, but it was one of the best days of my young life and each time this song starts I remember that sun-filled room and the half dozen or so people who were there. (RIP to the ones who were there that day but have now gone to that great gig in the sky)

Anything by Radiohead.

When son was strung out on opiates three years ago and lived with me he played their melancholy shiet for hours.

I would finally go to sleep and he would steal my keys and get my car impounded.

Five months clean and sober now. Still love the little **** ass.

So many songs/memories. Here's a few:

Reminds me of the first woman I truly loved (and the only one that I loved so deeply other than my wife of 38 years). She loved this album. I still think of her when I hear it.

My best friend growing up. We both got our license and first cars about the same time. We'd play our favorite cassettes and sang along to this one all the time.

A certain party comes to mind with this jukebox hit at the time

Reminds me of after I first met my wife at work, and I couldn't take my eyes of of her... "I'll be watching you". The song came out when we started dating in 83, still sort of "our song".

I've been totally transfixed by this song for a couple days since you posted.

Lady I flirt with at the FLAPS has surgery in the morning but will be back Monday. I confirm "You are back Monday?"

I send her a snippet video of the song this morning from your post. "And honey, I didn't know, that I'd be missing you so. Come Monday, it'll be alright............ "

She liked it a whole lot. Like scary liked it by the way she looked at me. She's 40.

Score for this old man! Better discounts is probably how it will pay out... :D

John Denver's Thank God I'm a Country Boy. In college, we played that in the locker room after every win. At first, as a freshman or sophomore, it was just a fun tradition. But come senior year--especially after we went 1-11 my junior year--it became a really special ritual, as I appreciated that there were only going to be a few more opportunities I'd get to hear that song in those circumstances.

Means a little bit more now, as I just got word today that our athletic trainer from my time in college passed away suddenly this past weekend. He spent a lot of time taking care of us. Godspeed, Jimmie Case.

Yeah, right...That was in the 80's. Things were different then, and it was mutual consent. :D

hey Bob-good wishes your way; its a long road. Feel the same way, but its a perilous journey.

Back ot-
Jimmy was really good before he became a caricature.

Mine? Springsteen's Rosalita. I was the dj for our high school dances, and nothing would light up an entire post football game crowd like that song. 300 kids doing a mexican hat dance thing at the end.

Too funny, that song was stuck in my head all morning. Kept hearing the same line over and over:

I spent 4 lonely days in a brown L.A. haze and I just want you back by my side.

BTW, Mr. buffet turned out to be a business genius, very very successful. Darn near a billionaire.
