PPOT braintrust. the full blown beard and the virus?
keeping a beard in today's virus climate has to be a very bad idea right?
my coworker keeps stroking his face!! and he had this tiny comb he keeps running thru it. plus if it does come to it, a face mask would fit like crap, no? be well friends!! |

Hmm, I hate shaving so I cycle through facial hair.
I wont shave for a couple of weeks then just take it all off. I'm in the take it all off mindset right now but too lazy to go do it but your post did make me aware that yes, I'm touching my face a lot more with the beard so thanks for the wake up. |

My SIL is about to be a firefighter. He had to shave and has to stay shaved because they won't allow a seal. |

I have had a full beard since the 1970s. It used to be brown but it is all chrome colored now. ;)
The mask does not prevent the wearer from getting the virus. It is primary for everyone else if the wearer has a virus. I am virus free, and I have no masks except dust masks for mowing the yard. |
I am too ugly without one.
as far as the combing thing, I rarely do that and only at home after a shower. I would not be thrilled having him comb it all the time I also have long hair, too ugly with it short |

I think keeping clean and looking good is important in a crisis including your own mental health, even if you sit at home.
An important side benefit would be that if you have to go to the hospital, you may be treated / triaged better if you look fit and young vs. ragged and old. A nasty beard will definitely not do you a favor there. G |

And done, face clean now, thanks Vash

mmm these boogers are sure good.
Full of vitamins and spent WBC. Just like a vaccine.... The NHS vaccines were sure expensive last time around. But they seemed to cause more deaths than they cured. |

I also feel very sure I don't have the virus. I plan to keep it that way. I do have a good supply of rubber gloves, mechanics gloves, soap and water. Keep a social distance is easy now days, just sneeze or cough a few times and say in a loud voice, man that trip back from China was long and hard. Suddenly there is a large void of people nearby. |
I am not shaving mine. It is trimmed and well kept and I have had it for years.
Plus, my post apocalypse persona calls for a beard so I have a head start. |
Not shaving, either. Have worn some form of beard for too long now; I look "weird" without it.
|
I didn’t think about that. I’m going to “recommend” to my son to shave that nasty Shiite off. Plus he’s half Asian so he just has half a beard.
