Installed some disc lights

I had some low clearance issues in the barn and came across these disk lights. They're a tad over 1/4" thick and mount on any standard octagon box. They come with everything you need to convert can lights too. I tried one in a troublesome can light in the kitchen. It's a 5 minute per light change out and really does look better and give better light. MrsWD says change them all. So I ordered a case of them. It's a good upgrade for old can lights and great any place you have a low clearance issue.

Interesting. I installed some can lights into our old home. I hated the way they looked, then I installed some LED upgrades for them and not only did that upgrade the light, and power usage, but also the aesthetics.

What I installed was something like this (which requires a can to mount).

This looks similar to what you bought. It seems like a great way to go.

These are super easy to install. If you have standard can lights, just take out the reflector and the trim ring, screw in the adapter, and snap the new lights in. Easiest thing I've done to make MrsWD happy in years.

We recently started using LED wafer lights. When I first saw a house full of them, I thought, oh ****.

They’ve grown on me the last 6 months.
