Yeah that was pretty cringable.
I can just imagine a SNL-like sketch dramatizing the logistics behind this video, the mass celebrity email that circulated encouraging involvement, those stuck in internal debate on whether it would be good for their brand, etc. Picture some of the more established folks giving 2 seconds of consideration followed by a "nope I'm good" just like many of us would decline a trite corporate team building invitation when others would be so gung ho about it.
