Anybody Using Google Home?

I was wondering if anyone on the Forum has been having any trouble with their Google Home(s).

About 4 months ago mine began acting up. It seems to be a widespread problem as many other users report the same problem as me. You tell it to do something and it replies:

"Something went wrong, try again in a few seconds"

Very unreliable performance.

A lot of suggested repairs, but nothing seems to work. Anyone have any insight?

I'm assuming you power-reset all?
My amazon home-group was giving me lots of trouble...until I reset everything a while back.

Good luck if you need to talk to a google tech.

One of my business partners uses them for coasters, like we used the AOL CDs from 25 years ago.

Acting up for me too, but since their "news" isn't, I haven't worried about it. Still on windows 7, thought that might have something to do with it. Was going to take the desktop to the local guy for updates, but postponed because of the China flu quarantine...

UPDATE: Google was absolutely useless in helping me resolve this issue. Nothing seemed to to work so I fixed it with Capitalism.

I replaced the Google Nest unit with an Alexa Echo. Anyone want a Google Nest cheap?

If you are planning on using your Echo for occasionally streaming music....it's worth it to get the Echo Sub. With an Echo Dot and the Echo, it really has a nice deep stereo sound. The app has the equalizer to set it up.
I use the three in my garage for streaming Sirius XM..It's free if you have a car subscription.
