No Senior night for my nephew

If you would like a distraction from COVID preparing, protecting and isolating I have a distraction that will give you additional purpose for a few days. My nephew, Patrick Gasman, plays(ed) for University of Hawaii's top ranked volleyball team...until his Senior year recently had an abrupt, early end, halting the expected route to the NCAA national championship match.

Last point in college was a big one---

We were all looking forward to the pile of Leis and Haka on Senior Night My brother, his father, is a ICU doctor preparing for the COVID surge to hit Fresno rather than his goal of attending every match this season. Patrick broke his ankle ....skateboarding... his freshman year and Redshirted. He chose not to graduate after earning his engineering degree and is minoring in business his 5th year to be a 'redshirt Senior'

In the spirit of March Madness, the Off The Block, Men’s Collegiate Volleyball site is hosting a seeded, 5 round, "Top of the Class" people's choice, on-line voting for the top 64 Seniors. Patrick has made it through two rounds, barely squeaking the last, and as of Friday morning is behind (the current standings are flipped from the order of the ballot with leader on the top). So, this popular athlete needs our help; this is, admittedly, a techno-popularity contest. Apparently you can vote again if you wait a full hour, per IP address. The winner of these in the past likely had ‘technical assistance’. You can see the results after the vote and see if 'more help' is needed.

Voting for this round (Regional Semifinals) ends Friday 2/27 at 8 PM PDT, then there are two more 2 day rounds. I will update this initial post with the new link and results.

I have been a 4 year fan and am sad that these great guys who I have shared hotels, breakfasts and arenas with had to put away the balls early. The three seniors in this picture with my 6 ft son Thomas were all in the balloting... Rado Parapunov #19 6'9" and Patrick #15 6'10" could use your support to move forward....their impressive career stats and awards are listed under the ballots if you need further convincing ��.

Does anybody know how to tap into the large Hawaii fan base?

Their last match (BYU - now NCAAA #1) was sold out - 10,000 fans - it went five sets and had my nephew finish it off at 19-17 with an ace serve.
