To get that "real far eastern" taste, get water from the river in Singapore or the one next to the Subic Bay base or where it used to be and you'll get that clean feeling!

I always rinse. Twice.
And sometimes the best water is the water that taste like chicken. Not always, but sometimes.

+many on chicken stock and brown rice. really amazing. we don't eat much white rice these days but if we do it's just water out of the faucet.

I thought we need to rinse a few times to reduce the arsenic in rice?
