Which cabinets are those? We have been trying to decide on which to get.

rwest, we were looking at all metal ones for the detached garage. The stuff out there that is MDF or wood swells in the weather changes. Klearvue would be good in the attached garage since it stay pretty steady, climate wise.

I have a Park. They aren't normally ribbed like that on the side. Maybe the newer ones?

Nope, the older ones- they call it a master trying stand https://www.parktool.com/product/master-truing-stand-ts-3

It was actually made to stop wheel builders from doing too good of a job- shop would set a spec for different grades of wheels and when the builder hit that number they would stop. That way you didn’t have someone spending “hours” getting a $200 set of wheels better than needed or until the profit was all gone.

I bought it because I thought it was cool- I barely use it. Park Tools is located within ten miles of me, I rode my bike there many, many years ago and loaded it on my bike trailer. It was one of a few items that they sold directly.

I built 100's of wheels and trued thousand on them when I managed a bike shop. I still run down to the shop to true wheels even though it's been more than 25 years. If you ever want to sell it, send me a pm.
