petrolhead611 04-02-2020 12:37 PM

That Rover is not a production P5B coupe: they were all 4 doors

Ah, yes, the Cortina. A friend had a Cortina Lotus. We didn't think much of it at the time LOL It wold be worth a bit now.

I'm fairly certain a friend had a two door Rover, might not hve been the exact model. Not positive. Nice car though. I really always liked those Citroens too.

And that Lotus Cortina with the P51 Mustang green trim and twin cammer
was a nice little racer back in the day. They was one in New Brunswick, Moncton I think, that raced at Debert, NS 50 years ago.

I had a Sunbeam Tiger '67 MK11 (289),at that time, just like this one, Orchid green (this color). Wish I still had it.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1585864701.jpg

I think there was only 9 of this color in '67 of the 513 approx built with the 289. SO.....
this could be it. I'll never know.

My pilot friend has a root beer colored Citroen SM. Got to ping him for some pictures. We took it for a ride in Santa Ynez in the 90's and even then I thought it was rather "floaty".

I like Jay Leno's. Especially the color on it.

I drove one from Halifax to my home in PEI, I liked it, seems to me it had a round ball for a brake pedal. It settled on it's suspension when stopped and the haedlights turned with where the car was poionted. And other things
