All the best. |
^ Thanks.
He's in North Carolina, but I remember a saying in the Georgia healthcare system, where if someone is a real PIA, they call him a "Georgia Peach." I'm almost wondering if this "Georgia Peach" is gonna keep on trucking! I'm thinking he'll pull through just to spite his health care staff:D I'll take it... And I'm so happy I was able to talk to him again, even if it was brief. BTW, the hospital did say it had a google app for video conferencing, sort of like the google equivalent of zoom. Thanks again. That's great news Ron. Thanks for the update, hope he pulls all the way thru this.
Sounds like he's a tough old cuss. |
Thanks Ron, for the update. We are pulling for him. I am.
Now don’t go messing with the mans green jello! |
Great to hear!
Hoping he gets home so his dinner will have some flavor. |

He sounds like a real character. I'm glad he is doing better, and that you take the situation in such good humor.

^ Thanks Sugar.
We kept the niceties to a minimum, as not to detract from the curmudgeoness! :) - and to wdfifteen- yes- 'quite' the personality. I'm glad I got to know him as my own dad went downhill. |
That is encouraging news. Nothing but good thoughts and well wishes headed to him and your family from Mr. & Mrs. Bugs.

Good luck, and it does seem to be a luck thing.

Good to hear!
I've got an uncle that's got a terminal degenerative lung thing. He was diagnosed about 4 years ago, I think, and I've been told that they usually have about 5 years after diagnosis. The lungs just slowly stop working. I believe he's in his early 80s. Everyone is trying to keep him very isolated right now, although it might be a blessing if something happened that caused him to go quickly vs slowly suffocating. |
