Dewalt air compressors - 90% off

This appears to be a scam. Proceed with extreme caution

Is this an awesome deal or to good to be true?

I’m driving so I can’t fully investigate this, but check the entire website for signs of a phishing scam.

That's not the website for DeWalt tools.

Dewalt tools is dewalt.com
That site is dewaltwos.com

Tried to order something. The only payment option is Paypal, but clicking the icon it won't take you to Paypal

That is a very good question. I bought one and now I'm trying to figure out if I have been scammed. The web site is identical to Dewalt but I ended up paying Pennekamp Tech. inc. Fortunately I paid through paypal and actually have not yet been charged.

Look at the url — fake. Look at the "products specifications" — improper grammar.

Are those hand-twos or power-twos?
Do they also sell two-boxes?

LOL, obvious scam.

OP: Cancel ASAP and notify PayPal. Hopefully you used CC via PayPal, in which case you should call your CC company direct to stop/reverse the charges.

Maybe the guy who does the $99 specials was the only guy who turned up for work that day.

Change you're paypal immediately. They may have your password if it went through another site.

LOG INTO PAYPAL DIRECTLY NOT THEIR LINK! Change your password, if they haven't done so already!

Hope you don't have banking account linked to paypal. Delete credit cards if possible.

You should just delete the link; we know it's a scam.

On one hand, they could have probably roped in more people if the the "discount" was so outrageous, eg is if it was 20% off. Then again, part of the logic is to make the offer so outlandish that smart people don't fall for it, and there's enough idiots willing to "give it a try" that they can still make a killing.

W/R/T to "give it a try:" my wife almost fell for something like this. I told her if it was too good to be true, then it it probably is. Her response was that I was too negative, and for only $xxx it might be "worth a try"

I gave an eBay seller a 'try' on a too-good-to-be-true deal not that long ago. It was for a welding cart, the kind HF sells, and a dozen other Bay'ers. But he was about 10 bucks less than the average. I knew the moment I did that it was the wrong move. With eBay you cannot stop a transaction once initiated. They got on it though and it was all taken care of in a few days.

Like Widebody says....
