I have a handful of guitars from different styles and eras but most gigs I will bring 2 and usually only play one. I develop a relationship with the guitar, the room, the band, and the audience, and generally don't want to change horses mid-gig unless there is a pressing reason to do it like a broken string or other failure. Different players feel differently but I get the tone dialed-in and the neck all greased up with sweat and it just gets better to me all night.

Every guitar is different, from the subtle differences of those of the same make and model. The differences only grow from there with different brands, pickups, strings...

?

Differences in guitars are vastly overstated.
they switch them out due to endorsement deals to show them playing multiple instruments...

Could also be different tunings.
Faster to switch guitars.

The guitar that started the whole damn awful relic thing.

The great thing about Strats and Teles....theyre all Partsocasters and none worth more than $500. Like this POS. Sixteen different necks, Kahler bridges, body routes, god knows how many electrics changes.
