NYC Covid
Lots of people dying here in NYC. Lower socioeconomic strata, minorities and poor. Hart Island used to be know as Potter's Field were the destitute and those alone in the world were buried, especially during disease outbreaks.

Mrs. Noah's cousin's girlfriend is an ER nurse in NJ. She's totally bombed at work, freaked out, and burnt out. She says she has panic attacks at work, where she is doing 12-hour shifts, in the double gowns and gloves, with double face masks. I don't think anyone other than OR staff are used to wearing those hot, hard-to-breathe-in get-ups for hours at a time. Even once this is over and the death rate levels or tapers off, there are going to be a lot of mental health issues from stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc.

I'm in awe of what the medical professionals are doing in these hotspots.
