“Well, if this is hell, it’s not very hot, or if it’s heaven, why is it so dusty?”

the nytimes article was one of the best that I read. The final quote is priceless
"He was sure he was “a goner” after his steering column snapped at over 160 m.p.h. in a race in Monza, Italy, in 1958. As he staggered away from the wreckage, he thought, “Well, if this is hell, it’s not very hot, or if it’s heaven, why is it so dusty?”

When I was 15 years old, my mother gave me a article written by Mr. Moss. The article was about safe driving, one thing that stood out was keeping two hands on the wheel. I never forgot that. Several weeks later when I got my drivers lic. , we could at 15 Years old. I made sure both hands were on the wheel. Of course not when shifting. Back then it was three on the tree.
