I’m still waiting for the report from the mechanic, it’s aggravating that he didn’t send it out promptly, but he hasn’t billed me yet either.

The boat will be delivered on Monday, the Marina that is charging me $160 per day is only charging me $300 to put it on the trailer, I just can’t believe the charges. I’ve got to get it out of west palm.

Where on the west Fl coast are you located? Have family there, may be down late July/early Aug.

Wife and I are at the beach this week - just arrived in Indian Shores beach just north of you.

As you can see, went with simple white. It gets hot down here. I’m going to have a Bimini made for the front to help keep the sun off when I’m not fishing.

That is a really nice boat. Very well done.

I had no doubt it would be.

Good choice for the new ulpolstry.
Is that on a new lift behind your new place?

I wonder if you could get some weather covers that snap on to or slide into bolt rope tracks on the front and back of the roof and stretch to the bow and stern while on the lift? This would go a long way to keeping sun and dirt out while it is sitting.

Nice looking fishing boat!

Cheers Richard

Still waiting on my dock and lift. They should be starting soon. I have some covers for most of the front, the upholstery guy is looking into making me some covers for the back.

There’s definitely always something with boat ownership, either upgrades or maintenance. I just had to have my props repaired after letting my daughter drive, at least they were all of one week old. Still it’s totally worth it.

I would strongly recommend asking around for a really good boat mechanic, and then send everything exclusively to him. There seem to be even more hack boat mechanics than car mechanics, a good one is worth his weight in gold. In my case I am the mechanic so there’s only one guy to blame.;)
