If you are into Hawaii music and culture - Kumo Hula

Edit: can't find it on Amazon so obviously it doesn't exist

I vacationed a lot on the islands so I may have picked it up there.

Edit, edit: KUMU HULA 🙄

With lax environmental laws, a coastal area in India has become the global go-to for dismantling ships for scrap. Sad situation for most workers...here's a version on YouTube:

WW2 in color is great but I’ve just started WWII From The Front Lines on Netflix. Very similar and more of that old fascinating footage, restored and colorized.

I love his jazz doc. Jazz is my favorite so I’m anal about it and he did leave out some important stuff but overall I found it enjoyable enough to have watched it at least 20 times or more.

Bummer, I went looking for it, but the only way to see it these days is to buy DVDs or subscribe to a PBS service.

Has anyone mentioned "Idiocracy" yet?

I'm going to periodically check for any of his stuff to be free that sounds interesting to me. As I was perusing the list, there were several that sounded interesting.

The Farthest - Voyager in Space

Was going to rent on Amazon but it seems to be free on PBS website. I prefer to watch this on my TV but figure I’ll continue watching it on my iPad for free

I watched a documentary about Ted Geisel AKA Dr. Seuss last night. I had no idea of the depth of that man. His famous children's books are the tip of the iceberg. It was probably on Prime.

^^+1000. I think it won an Oscar for Best Documentary

For those musically inclined I can also wholeheartedly recommend:
