PPOT is sloooooooow ....

The servers, not MOST members ;).

Anybody else?

pwd72s 04-20-2020 10:17 AM

Sloooow like slower than dial up used to be...without the sound effects.

Not having the problem on other posting boards I visit.

Everything is that slow. Something is going on with the backbones.

stevej37 04-20-2020 11:55 AM

I thought it was my 300-baud modem acting up again.

As pelican parts hits the "auxilliary nuclear power" switch-

*PERSONALLY- I was thinking since the spybots were dredging the site and found PPOT's most commonly used terms were "dragon ass jeans" and a "well set up 944", and then melded them as best it could into a product it thought we would buy -that pic posted earlier, and no one had actually wanted it, that the spybots attacked, all hell had broken loose, and the site crashed.

edit... actually what I felt was... "Ah crap, NOW what am I going to do with my life?" :)

93nav 04-20-2020 03:28 PM

Pelican was not available to me for a bit, around 5:30pm CST.

Other parts of the internet are periodically slow. This is ongoing, currently experiencing.

It's back to full speed for me now.

There was a problem with one of the ISPs in CA today.
Guessing Pelican was hit by that.

KFC911 04-20-2020 08:16 PM

Damn...I want my Bitcoins back then! At one point earlier the forums were actually taken down too. This caused me great anguish today :D

I'm still gonna blame Tabs for the Internet's draggin' azz tho'.
