Just a heads up
 

Just a friendly warning to all that I recently sold an engine and transmission to bob/performance independent Porsche repair from San Diego. They paid in full, however 3 days later, and after paying 2 guys to build a crate and me having arranged shipping and customs brokerage, and having turned away other interested parties, ——bob from San Diego flaked on the sale and requested his money be returned. Reason? He changed his mind!
I explained to bob at Performance Independent Porsche Repair that I had incurred in expenses and had lost real buyers while wasting my time with him, and that his refund would be executed minus the costs I incurred.
Bob did not like that!
Beware of bob his real name is babak bahsh in San Diego. Do not sell to him.

Curious if the OP is a regular here who set up a second account in order to remain anonymous while issuing a genuine warning to his fellow Pelicanites, or if he's a one-off, here for one reason: to bad mouth a business he got sideways with.

I've been in there lots of times. Although I wouldn't go to the extent to call myself a friend of the owner, I'm well acquainted with him and the guys who work there. I don't know who "Bob" is. Maybe I'm taking the OP too seriously.

I wasn't around when you turned in your badge. At least you tried....I sure as hell wouldn't :)
