So what will you do the same as before the Pandemic?

The "So what will you change" thread had me thinking about this whole situation. Will I allow the Virus to change me and how I interact with others? I can't let that happen. I'm a people person (yes really :D). I love talking to people. I love meeting new people. I'm a hand shaker in my personal life. I'm a hand shaker in my business life. I've never felt so awkward as not shaking the hand of a person that just bought a piece of equipment from me and I could tell the buyer was uncomfortable not shaking hands.

So enter the solution. I don't give a damn if I have to put on hand sanitizer in front of buyers and my first extension towards them be with a bottle of hand sanitizer for them to do the same, I'm not going to allow this virus to take away a basic symbol of a bond or friendship or show of appreciation.

Don't let it change who you are. Change how you do it.

I can take or leave handshaking. When the elbow bump started becoming a thing, I tried to popularize bowing. Didn’t really take.

I now wave, salute, or flip the bird, depending on the person..... SmileWavy

Not this.

I will still shake hands in the future once this mess is gone like Swine Flu and Bird Flu, and all the other flu viruses China sends us.

I just can't imagine the firm handshake and look someone in the eyes, and smile will ever go away with my generation. Maybe the Gen X and Millennials will move on to another form of greeting. I simply can't fathom bowing to anyone. I guess I am an ugly American and believe some obscure text I read that "all men are created equal".

I have not changed a thing...and do not intend to do so.

Then get off my lawn....or mow it!

I prefer the kissing of cheeks :D

Even before this pandemic scare, I would wash my hands after touching a shopping cart, or public door...I felt dirty until I do so.

I really don't plan on changing much, it's not like I loved crowds before, and don't hang out with groups anywhere.

We will continue to camp in State parks, with friends (separate campers), ride our bikes, walk the trails, but will probably stay away from any pools other than our own, in our back yard.

I will still not believe 95% of what the MSM shovels out at "news" and have virtually no respect for them as they use fear and shock to boost ratings.

You know I roll on one of those Super Z's I told you about a while ago. Not only will I mow your lawn but I'll have time to drink all your beer when I'm done!

I would like to know what the 5% is....cause I don't seem to get that channel :).

I like it! Giving me a goal to work towards!

Methinks I will give up my property with the pasture-sized lawn after I retire. Mowing several hours each week is a huge waste of time and money.

Get a Hustler Super Z... problem solved and you can keep the pasture sized lawn.

If/when I need to mow my dad's place, or my other property with acreage...I will seriously consider one of those.

They're a bad mofo. The only thing I'd buy right now other than a Hustler Super Z would be a Ferris with full suspension. They're like mowing on a cloud. If stripes are what you're after... Dixie Chopper or XMark are hard to beat. I have lawn envy when I look at yards cut with those two.

Not familiar with that one, but have a big commercial z-trak from JD...and it is still a pain.
