Crap... Oshkosh 2020 cancelled

Will be first year since 1993 that I will not make my annual pilgrimage to my favorite event of the year. Was hoping it would still happen somehow.

Well that stinks. I would have thought an outdoor on the grass the end of July would have been fairly safe. I guess they have all the indoor stuff to worry about.

It probably would have been safe, but a lot of the cancellations are due to it really sucks trying to coordinate and plan an event under current conditions.

I'm on a committee that is trying to plan a conference for October and vendors, hotels, venues, etc are slow to respond, if they do at all, and if they do, some are able to give pricing and details, others are not, no one will put much in writing.

If I could, I would cancel this year too just to save the frustration, but the consensus by management is things will be ok by then...so we push forward

They may be doing you a favor. I suspect quite a few of them will be out of business by then.

Crap... Oshkosh 2020 cancelled

Yeah, this truly is a “What The F—-“ day of news.....

I get home from work this morning at 0400, grab a few hours of Z’s and up at 0900. Then I get the treat of reading that Oshkosh 2020 is canceled. The first year we had planned on attending.........Dam it to Hell!!

Then I get another email that the 2020 Scuba Expo is also cancelled.........Oh for phuc sake!!!! Seriously?

Then an hour later........another email arrive informing me that the 2020 CanardsWest Fly-IN for next month has been cancelled...........No freaking way this is happening in one day!

And then to top it all off....... our good friend who’s LongEze I have been helping him make upgrades, informs me that he and his wife are now working on the logistics of getting their son’s remains back to California after he passed away. He was in his late 20’s.

I AM ****** done with May 2020, and it’s only the 1st. I want a G.D. do over! In fact, let’s restart 2020.

Sincerely,
Frustrated beyond all belief

What’s next........ The Reno Air races???
