Edit --> Go Advance --> "Select Message". --> Delete This Message

You can delete a post that is relatively new. Once it is more than a few months or years, it will not delete. You can't delete a new thread you started. You can only ask the moderator to do that for you.

Couldn't you just edit it and replace it with "..." or "never mind" or whatever?

I don't think you can even edit ancient posts....

I just leave my stooooopid posts alone in all their glory :D

I usually just post a pic of myself naked and the complete post is gone an hour or two later.

The method certainly works however I have trouble logging on for the next seven days.

Set the time machine for a minute or two before you hit 'send' and then just don't hit 'send'.
