Any chance this is not a scam?
I'm saying no. It's been up for 29 days.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1588888072.jpg What do they get out of posting these things? Do people actually send them money? |
Why would you describe the AC and heater performance? That's the last info I want on the car.
|
It's a scam.
For sale here. 1969 Porsche 911 E Karmann Coupe matching numbers classic car light ivory Video from ad <iframe width="1280" height="939" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HzmVvCqRb9s" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
So..... ask for my cashier's check back?
|
Makes one think. What is a good way to post a car for sale if you are determined to not let your photos get stolen. Interesting exercise in online security. How do you get a prospective buyer to request photos without looking like a scammer yourself ?
|
You could watermark the photos.
|
I've had pictures stolen of our houses for sale, then they post them in the for rent section on craigslist.

Not a scammer.
Just kidding. Something to identify it as yours, like craigslist Omaha or something, right in the middle of the picture where it can't be cropped out. A scammer would probably just steal someone else's photos. Removing it in photoshop would be a PITA. |
It's less of a scam than shutting down the whole country.

The heater works great?
In a '69 911? That claim alone screams scam. _ |
