993 Turbo S Ad

Anybody see this? I would love to have the car but not the color. Beyond me why but I suppose we all have our preferences.

Wow!

slow&rusty 05-08-2020 05:37 AM

And to think you can buy a "regular" 993 Turbo for about 10%-15% of the ask which is 90-95% of that "S"

Excellence puts value at about $330K.

That color!!!! Ack.

HardDrive 05-08-2020 06:17 AM

I don't mind the exterior, but the interior....ewwww....

911boost 05-08-2020 06:22 AM

That car has been around, I am sure I have seen it before.

mgatepi 05-08-2020 06:35 AM

Well the colors explain the low mileage! Nobody wants to be seen in it! :)

Ditto. I know I've seen it before, maybe it was driving past their window on Wilshire Blvd. on my way home, though.

If Liberace bought a Turbo S...

GH85Carrera 05-08-2020 07:39 AM

I suspect in person it looks great. It sure beats another triple black car, or boring silver.

It does not matter, few of us will even think of spending that much money for a car. It is a cool car, but I would get something newer with even more performance for that much money.

Bottom line, I will stick with mu paid for since the last millennium old 911.

You guys are messed up in the head. I'd take that color in a heartbeat! So uniquely Porsche.

+1. There are a couple others with hideous interiors that pop up from time-to-time. One is all cranberry (like every surface), and another is peanut-butter brown and black over everything (like a giant Reese's PB cup). Money taste...

+1 I like that color of green. It was popular in the early 90's. Oh that interior is terrible.

javadog 05-09-2020 05:27 AM

I cannot imagine buying that car and only driving it 25 miles a year. What a waste,

That is the first thing I thought!

Maybe the color would be cool for a tennis pro who has the trophy to go with it?

masraum 05-09-2020 08:45 AM

Then only change that I think I'd want to make would be the gauges. I think standard dark/black gauges would be better.

That's exactly it. Someone needs to be pimp slapped a few dozen times.

I remember some guy from around Florida that ordered a succession of cars in orange and green, as he was a fan of one of the football teams down there. I think the exteriors were orange and the interiors bright green...

Our own GeorgeK had an orange car with a green interior...
